Shabbat Service Message
“The First Resurrection, the Restoration of Israel, and the Awakening of the Rest of the Dead”
---
1. Opening Blessing
Shabbat Shalom STM family.
You are a blessing and loved much.
“Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Messiah, and will reign with Him for a thousand years.” — Revelation 20:6
Those who belong to Yeshua—dead and alive—are gathered to Him first:
“The dead in Messiah will rise first… and so we shall always be with the Lord.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17
This is the first resurrection, the resurrection of the righteous, the overcomers, the saints.

2. Israel’s Restoration When Messiah Gathers Them From the Nations
This is the part many churches skip, but Scripture does not.
Messiah gathers Israel from every nation
“He will set His hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people… and gather the outcasts of Israel from the four corners of the earth.” — Isaiah 11:11–12
He brings them into the wilderness for covenant renewal
This is the same pattern as the Exodus.
“I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I will enter into judgment with you face to face… and I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant.” — Ezekiel 20:34–37
He removes the veil from their eyes
“And He will destroy the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations.” — Isaiah 25:7
Paul echoes this:
“When one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.” — 2 Corinthians 3:16
They recognize Yeshua as Messiah
“They will look upon Me whom they pierced, and mourn for Him.” — Zechariah 12:10
Israel becomes the Bride restored
“I will betroth you to Me forever… in righteousness and in justice, in lovingkindness and in compassion.” — Hosea 2:19
From Zion, Messiah rules the nations
“For out of Zion shall go forth the Torah, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.” — Isaiah 2:3
This is the millennial kingdom, where the resurrected saints rule with Messiah, and restored Israel becomes the priestly nation she was always meant to be.

3. The Dead Who Are Not in Messiah — When Do They Awaken?
Scripture is extremely clear:
They do NOT rise in the first resurrection.
They rise after the thousand years.
“The rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished.” — Revelation 20:5
This is the second resurrection, also called:
- The resurrection of judgment
- The resurrection of the unjust
- The great white throne resurrection
What happens when they awaken?
“I saw a great white throne… and the dead were judged according to their works.” — Revelation 20:11–12
Death and Sheol give up the dead
“The sea gave up the dead… Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them.” — Revelation 20:13
Those not written in the Book of Life
“Anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” — Revelation 20:15
This is the second death—the one that has no power over those in the first resurrection.

This is The Prophetic Flow
A. The Blessing of the First Resurrection
- Saints rise first
- Immortal, glorified, reigning with Messiah
- Second death has no power over them
- They rule from Zion for 1,000 years
B. Israel’s National Restoration
- Gathered from the nations
- Brought into the wilderness
- Veil removed
- Covenant renewed
- Recognizes Yeshua
- Becomes the Bride
C. The Rest of the Dead
- Remain asleep for 1,000 years
- Awaken at the Great White Throne
- Judged by works
- Second death for those not in the Book of Life
Let us rejoice in serving Yeshua and giving our temporary life to him. We see one of our rewards will be to rest and reign with Him during this period while those that are not found in him sleep in the dust. Also let us rejoice over his Bride Israel, whom he says "in this way all Israel will be saved", and let us pray for those of this world that need him to find him so they to can have life everlasting. Amien!
